Touch therapy: it’s what I need
to caress your cheek
to run my hands through your hair
to intertwine my fingers with yours
to stroke your chest
to feel the warmth of your body as it radiates heat
to purr to the rhythm of your heartbeat
to experience contact, head to toe
to relax in your safety net
to remember I am alive
Alas ... you are not here to touch
